Didn’t even realize that they had Ladies Night here on Mondays until I saw it pop up on my Facebook wall! Went there for a very quick drink with a few others after 9pm and well, honestly – it’s just ‘Ok’.

Well, to give it some credit, the view itself is quite spectacular although J keeps saying it looks the same as anywhere else. Ha ha that’s how spoilt we are in Dubai isn’t it! You’re on a rooftop bar overlooking SZR to the north so the Burj Khalifa is twinkling in the distance. Look down and you see 360, its purple lights amidst the calm Gulf waters. The Burj Al Arab and its ever-changing colours, right next to it. Orange last night, I think. So definitely thumbs up for views, which could be quite a wow for tourists to Dubai, and it’s not too far high up since it’s only on the 24th floor.

But! Being picky as I am, it’s not really somewhere I’ll go back ay. Girls get 3 free drinks, and if you’re wearing red you get canapes and a glass of bubbly as well. I had a shot-glass of blue liquour which was pretty strong but not so nice. Reminded me a little of the very sour cocktail they served at Dek on 8’s ladies night.

Go there once maybe and see if you like it?
